Curbside Recycling: Curbside Recycling is an extremely easy and affordable way to incorporate recycling into your daily operations. Document Shredding: Jackson Community Recycling provides certified document destruction for just $.15 a pound. For more information visit JCR’s website at http://www.tetonwyo.org/recycling.
E-Waste: E-waste such as old computers, telephones, printers, fax machines should be recycled and are collected daily at Jackson Community Recycling. Typically the cost for recycling is $.50 a pound to cover JCR’s shipping fees.
Hazardous waste: Old paints, varnishes, and stains are toxic and need to be dealt with accordingly. Jackson Community Recycling’s Household Hazardous Waste facility operates in the spring and summer. For winter hazardous waste concerns call JCR at 307-733-7678 to make a spring appointment and place your name on a reminder list.
Landscaping/Yard Waste: Some landscaping (i.e. lawn clippings, tree branches, etc.) waste can be recycled at the Teton County Trash Transfer Station. For more information, go to www.tetonwyo.org/engineer or call 307-733-6840.
Motor Oil and Car Batteries: Make sure that your vehicles’ motor oil and car batteries are properly recycled. Motor oil can be recycled at Teton Motor’s Service Center 1020 W Broadway or 307-733-6600. Car batteries can be brought back NAPA Auto Parts at 990 S. Highway 89 or 307-733- 2716.
Office Pack: Many business overlook common recyclables such as envelopes, receipts, and memos, all of which are included in Jackson Community Recycling's “office pack” bins. To become familiar with what is acceptable for office pack, visit JCR’s website at http://www.tetonwyo.org/recycling.
Post Signs: Post signs at home or at work that promote recycling and other RRR practices.
Receptacles: Place recycling receptacles in easily accessed and relevant locations at home and in the office. Place separate receptacles for different recyclables i.e. glass, paper, aluminum, etc., so that your recyclables are pre-sorted for drop-off.
Scrap Metal: Jackson Community Recycling can recycle a limited amount of scrap metal. Call for more information before dropping off, 307-733-7678. Teton County Trash Transfer Station can also recycle some scrap metal; visit their website at www.tetonwyo.org/engineer or call 307-733-6840 for more information.
Tires: Tires can be recycled at the Teton County Trash Transfer Station. There is a fee per tire and more information can be found at www.tetonwyo.org/engineer or by calling 307-733-6840.

Where can I recycle?
Jackson Community Recycling has nine easy residential community drop sites, and our Adam’s Canyon facility is available for commercial drop-off. Community locations and times of service can be found on JCR’s website, http://www.tetonwyo.org/recycling.
Teton County Trash Transfer Station is located on the left side of Highway 89 south of town approximately 0.5 miles past the South Park Loop Road entrance. More information can be found at http://www.tetonwyo.org/engineer.
